About Feathered Finds
Feathered Finds was brought about in July 2006 to make availiable a wide range of toys and supplies availiable for your birds. Birds need toys to play with to keep from being bored and to cater to their foraging instinct. We have several categories of toys from Heavy Duty toys that are very hard to destroy and are washable. Wood toys and shreddable parrot toys to be destroyed by your bird just like they would strip branches and forage in the leaves in the wild. We also have challgening puzzle toys for the smart playful birds and foot toys to keep those feet strong.
Our toys are from reputable bird toy companies but be aware that nothing is 100% safe. Please supervise your birds and check your toys for damage daily. If there is sign of too much wear and tear that could become dangerous for your bird please remove the toy. Also check the floor of the cage for peices of the toy being destroyed this is especially necessary for rope toys and soft plastic toys. Make sure your bird is not eating the parts, if they are please remove the toy and supply another more appropriate toy.
Each bird is different, they have different wants, they like different types of toys. We try to bring you the biggest possible range of toys and we are still growing. We also appreciate your feedback so please leave us a message on the Feedback Page hosted by Smart Guestbook.
How To Order
There are two main ways to order from feathered finds. The first way is to email us your order at Featheredfinds@yahoo.com.au then you get a response from us with your total and other details. Due to shipping costs and restraints on the shopping cart we are unable to take international orders via the shopping cart at this time. However we will accept overseas orders either via direct deposit or through paypal.
The other way is by the shopping cart, this is for orders within Australia only. 'Clicking the Add To Cart' button will open up your shopping cart and put your item in there. Some of our products have a drop down menu so that you can allocate a colour or a style to your toy. The payments for Feathered Finds are handled by Paypal so all your information is secure. With paypal you can pay via paypal funds or by using your credit card or bank account associated with paypal.
Orders are shipped out within a working day or two by Australia Post. Currently we are situated in an Outside Next Day Delivery network so Express and Normal orders may take a little longer to arrive.
If and Item is not in stock it will be placed on backorder the usual waiting time is up to 2 weeks.
Also for overseas orders dont forget to check with your country as to it's import laws regarding the wood and natural wood products.
